NJW have designed and delivered a revolutionary Web based solution for
British Airways which links property and facilities management within a single
management Portal.
British Airways property had a detailed vision to consolidate all of the
property
work requests linking a multitude of service providers, software solutions and
business processes into a single information tool.
NJW were selected after a national tendering process because they
demonstrated that they could deliver the vision with a fresh approach and
innovative thinking.
The solution is now ‘LIVE’ and has been named as ‘PropertyConnections’ in
line with the new service supplier provision.
NJW were able to harness modern web technologies linking Horizon data
managed by CBRE, Maximo data managed by Emcor, Archibus managed by
the new ‘PropertyConnections’ team, building documents and O&M into the
consolidated management solution.
NJW Managing Director Nigel Warrick feels that the Top Hat approach to
harnessing existing technology and improving the business processing from
the top down provides a exceptional information tool. It also provides a data
warehouse which is kept up to date by stakeholders without them having to
adjust their working practices. The biggest advantage however, is the online
ability to data mine dashboard reports seamlessly from the solution.
